an apartment in the Algarve in front of the sea that has always been family and that I now want to share with you. This is where I wrote and continue to write my books. It is not a tourist resort, but my home, which I occupy a few days every month. Your stay will be for knowledge, for being readers or writers, by invitation or indication or by literary reference. The global value is the same practiced in the area, but it will have a contribution component for cultural projects. It may happen that a stay finances the cost of publishing a book, for example. And that already converges with (my) dreams. If you are a writer or candidate and are looking for a retreat, I will maintain close remote contact and will be able to organize it according to your literary goals, but please leave that mention in the reservation.

from here you can see the mirror that the mother planned for here and an old chest; the living room is always bright and has a click-clac sofa bed for two people and even a TV with chromecast to watch Netflix, HBO, FIlmin, Youtube and cable TV applications directly from personal mobile phones. The wifi is 120 mb, stable and quality
kitchen
the kitchen is spacious and belongs to the paternal family, who have always dedicated themselves professionally to kitchens; it is fully equipped with induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, hand blender, etc.
living room balcony to the sea
if i had to choose a place where i would stay all the time it is this balcony over the sea where i write and read as if there was no tomorrow. I often sleep in the living room with the door open to fall asleep and wake up with the sea. The star piece I write and read on cold days is the 2 meter white table, the center of the house's life

the noblest part of Armação, full of beautiful villas, half a dozen of which remain, almost all in the square of the church, despite being destroyed by real estate speculation and wild construction, in the eighties and nineties of the last century, it is more pleasant, there , in front of the sea, just as the old fishing village is more beautiful than ever and it is difficult to eat fish as well as here; good and cheap; sea bream, sea bass, horse mackerel, sardines, corvina, etc,

In this house you don't have to search for the sea. The sea is here at our feet and I always felt it as the maximum privilege. My name is Pedro Guilherme-Moreira and I'm just a writer who will share his home honoring a project by a very special mother, mine, Mena, who passed away in November 2019 with this dream: a themed vacation home dedicated to her son and literature. What has changed is that now it is also my home, where I come to read and write every month for at least a week. I've always done it here, but only two weeks a year in July. It was my grandfather Caius (son of the sculptor Alves de Sousa, another of my life projects, author of the famous statue of Boavista - a Lion on top of an Eagle - in Porto), who built this building, with a lot of quality (which you can see yourself in marble, right at the entrance, among other details) in 1983. Whoever stays in this apartment will not be with me, but will always be my guest and will share my personal spaces. If I want the best for myself, I will leave the best for others. But this is an exchange. I exchange days in my house for support for literature (the price will always have two components: a fixed donation to support literature and culture (mine and others, which may include school projects, days in the apartment for young literate who cannot afford it, days offered to the most cooperative and dedicated, etc., and it will always be communicated to the user for which his gift was used) and an income. Guests are invited or duly referenced, can be someone that I know, my readers or explain to me why are they passionate about literature: this time literature opens doors. For me the time has come to make books the center of the universe and this little paradise is the equator for that purpose. I reinforce: If you are a writer or candidate and are looking for a retreat, I will maintain close remote contact and will be able to organize it according to your literary goals, but please leave that mention in the reservation.Oh, and I deliberately emptied the house from books so that everyone brings one, date it, dedicate it and leave it on the big white table. When I am not there, it is managed by an Italian family that I will introduce you to on these pages and on social media and that is exceptional in all aspects. They are friends. It has professional cleaning and everything and all the comforts, including a rational use of resources and the treatment of the house as yours, which can give additional days;
